MMYFC – Safer Return to Training (updated April 20th 2021)

Following on from the FAI’s announcement (19th April 2021) around a return to football, the Management Committee has carefully reviewed the guidelines and the logistics around implementation. There are a number of items that need to be taken into consideration before we can get back to football in a safe environment.

The continued appointment and training of Covid Compliance Officers will be of paramount importance to ensure all parents, players, managers and coaches will play their part in ensuring we follow the guidelines.

Willie Boland will continue as our designated Covid Compliance Officer. Willie will be assisted by Katie Lyons who also has responsibility for all the girls teams. Willie and Katie are working closely with a Covid-19 Committee which includes all members of the Management Committee.

As part of the FAI protocols, we need you to complete a form which is self-explanatory and can be found below. There are separate links for Managers, Parents and Senior players.

As always, on behalf of the Club, I would like to thank those of you who have been working tirelessly in the front line to help us through this period.

Barry Saul, Chairperson, Ciaran Doyle , Adrian Lyons, Paul Burke, Paul Mc Donnell, Tom Hanrahan & Emily Hourican
