Mount Merrion Youths FC’s U19s have claimed the Paddy Lee Cup, after a sensational league campaign this season.
Tom Hanrahan’s side ran out as comprehensive league winners, with several dominant displays throughout.
A 3-0 win at home to Ashbourne United sealed the deal on Friday night at the Colaiste Eoin School Astro, completing a remarkable record of nine wins from the opening ten games of the year.
Alongside their league campaign, the MMYFC u19s will also take their place in the semi-final of the Leinster Football Association (LFA) Cup next Sunday.
The game will see the U19s take on Kildare outfit Newbridge.
Congratulations to the lads on their brilliant accomplishment, and well deserved after a season of hard work.
Best of luck to the lads in their semi-final of the LFA Cup next weekend.
